How Talos turned one sentence into a 52-second 1080p promo video for IdeaCraft, with real product screenshots, subtitles and music, in about 20 minutes.

*01 One sentence, delivered in 19 minutes 57 seconds*
Project background
AI products ship faster and faster, and every new feature needs a short video that explains what it does. Producing a product promo video by hand means screenshots, a script, editing, subtitles and music; we estimate about 4 hours. This time we used Talos to generate a 52-second 1080p product promo video in 20 minutes.

*02 It opens the website and captures the pages itself*
Challenge
The difficulty of a product promo video comes down to two things. First, the material has to be real: the footage must come from the product itself for viewers to believe it. Second, the narrative has to hold: there are many features, so you have to pick the main line and pace it as pain point, product, features, pricing, call to action. General AI video tools mostly generate footage from text, which produces conceptual shots, so real product interfaces have to be captured and edited separately. The goal here was a promo video built on real product footage that is ready to publish.

*03 A real interface from the report page in the final video*
Method
Step 1: Assign the task in one sentence
We did not write a structured prompt; we gave a single sentence. The full prompt:
Open ideacraft.cn and make a promo video for it. You can explore its features.
The sentence contains three key elements:
A clear subject: it gives the product URL, ideacraft.cn. A clear deliverable: a promo video. Permission to explore: Talos is left to learn the features on its own, and to decide the script and the narrative.
Step 2: Talos executes on its own
After receiving the instruction, Talos completed the following steps in order:
- Feature exploration: it opened the website in the built-in browser and read the homepage, the sample report, the product console and the pricing page, mapping out the feature line: enter an idea, generate 5 reports, AI revision, add-on services, pricing
- Asset capture: it used a script to capture real 1080p pages, including the idea being typed out character by character and the scrolling view of the 5 reports, 66 screenshots in total
- Clean-up of the footage: it found that a "Go to console" pop-up in the lower right corner of the page was covering content, switched to a persistent script that hides it, and captured the screenshots again
- Script and composition: it wrote 15 shots following the order question, pain point, brand, demo, reports, revision, pricing, closing, applied the product's own off-white and amber palette, and added a browser window frame, push-ins, scrolling and fades
- Music and export: it synthesized a light music track in code, encoded it together with the footage into an MP4, checked the frames, and delivered
The whole run took about 20 minutes.
Step 3: Structure of the final video
The final video is 52 seconds long, 1920×1080, with 15 shots:
| Segment | Shot content | Subtitle |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | A text card posing a question | Before you write code, have you really thought it through? |
| Pain point | Three lines appearing one after another | Three months of coding, then you launch and find nobody needs it |
| Brand | Logo with an underline animation | Think it through first, then write the code |
| Demo | An idea typed character by character into the homepage input | Write your idea down in one sentence |
| Process | The three-step explainer on the website | Three steps to a result, simple enough to need no tutorial |
| Reports | The labels of the 5 reports appear in sequence | One idea, 5 professional reports, generated in real time |
Next comes the feature showcase, one shot per report, with the camera scrolling inside the real report page:
| Shot | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Product overview | Push in on the score of 78 and the "worth doing" conclusion |
| 01 Product insight | Users, needs, feasibility validation |
| 02 Monetization analysis | TAM / SAM / SOM, competitor comparison, revenue paths |
| 03 Technical plan | Three-stage implementation steps, server and cost configuration |
| 04 Profit forecast | Conservative, neutral and optimistic growth scenarios |
| Console | Push in on the AI report advisor chat area on the right |
| Add-on services | Brand posters, PPTs, development prompts |
| Pricing | Free plan 3 times per month, credit packs from ¥2 per run (data as of October 2026) |
| Closing | Every idea deserves to be captured + ideacraft.cn |
All product footage comes from real pages on the website, and the report content uses the sample reports included on the website, so no analysis credits were consumed from the account.

*04 The final video reaching the add-on services*

Talos delivered a 52-second 1080p promo video in 20 minutes, covering IdeaCraft's input, 5 reports, AI revision, add-on services and pricing, with all footage taken from the product's real interface.
Business impact
One-off production: a single sentence yields a publishable video, so product managers no longer wait in line for design and editing.
Repeat production: after a product update, run it again to get a version with the new interface; change the URL and the same sentence works for another product.
Real material: the footage comes directly from live pages, so features, numbers and interfaces match the product and the risk of promo material not matching the real thing is reduced.
Easy to revise: for vertical format, a voiceover or a different pace, say so in the same session and you get a new version.
Reusable lessons
- Give the URL and let it explore: hand the product URL straight to Talos; it reads the pages, maps the features and then decides what to say.
- State the publishing channel: when posting to Douyin or Xiaohongshu, add "9:16 vertical" to the instruction and save one round of rework.
- Spell out footage requirements: if pop-ups, login prompts or private information must be avoided, say so in the instruction up front.
- Stay in the session to keep revising: once the first version exists, giving feedback in the same session is faster than starting over.
FAQ
Q: Do I need to prepare my own screenshots and assets to make a product promo video with Talos?
A: No. Give it the product URL and Talos opens the pages in the built-in browser and captures them automatically. For pages that require a login, you can log in manually first and then hand it over.
Q: How long does a product promo video usually take?
A: About 20 minutes in this case, producing a 52-second 1080p video. The time varies with the number of product pages and shots.
Q: Are there copyright issues with the music in the video?
A: The music in this case was synthesized by Talos in code and involves no third-party library. If you want specific music, you can give the audio file to Talos to replace it.
Q: Can this method be used for other products?
A: Yes. The core is "give the URL + let Talos explore the features", which works for any product with public web pages, such as SaaS tools, mini-program websites and landing pages for AI apps.
