# Talos

> Start it. See it through.

Talos isn’t built for quick Q&A. It is an immersive AI workspace for real work and everyday tasks. Within the access you authorize, Talos can work with source material, use tools, carry a task forward, and deliver something you can use.

## Content creation

Talos can move beyond individual images to produce a coordinated set of ready-to-publish content assets. You decide whether and when anything is published.

## Scheduled tasks

Once you choose a schedule, Talos starts the task at the set time while the app is running. Each run and its results are kept in a timeline.

## File handling

Talos can work across PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, and images in the same task, then deliver the finished files.

## Model choice

Hosted models are available after you sign in. You can also connect your own model account or API key. Every transaction involving included credits is clearly itemized.

## Focused work

Quick session navigation and a full-screen workspace help complex tasks keep their context and momentum.

## Data and connectivity boundaries

Talos is local-first, not fully offline. Conversations, files, skills, and settings stay on your device by default, while model calls and some connected services require internet access. Requests made with included credits pass through the Talos gateway to the selected model service provider. With your own API key, requests go directly from your device to that provider.

## Supported platforms

- macOS 11 or later, Universal for Apple silicon and Intel
- Windows 10 and 11 on x64 processors
- Linux and Windows on Arm are not currently supported
